Description |
In the year 1952 an 8 acre land was used to build which is now called the largest and most popular Garden in Pune. It is very convenient for the citizens particularly for evening stroll, as it is located in the heart of the city. About 7 - 8 thousand people visit this Garden every Saturday and Sunday. Even more people enjoy the cool ambience here during the summer days. This Garden also caters to other needs, it provides separate place for kids, fully equipped with play equipment such as see - saw, Mary - go - round, etc. In year 1951, a restaurant was built to cater to the visitors. This property within the garden can be rented out at a payment of Rs. 250/- per month. We also celebrate wild life week 1-7th October every year. We also undertake breeding of some common fishes. We educate young ones for growing fish keeping hobby in scientific way. To overcome disease of fish we give proper dosages of Antibiotics and common salt treatment. Our Aquarium is enlisted and registered public Aquarium in Waikaii World Aquarium Directory. We plan to expand existing Aquarium tanks with more varieties of fishes & plants with one part of Museum and few experimental marine tanks too. |
