The datasets here are primarily sourced from the huge amount of data which is collected by various government institutions for administrative purposes and put together in machine readable format and made available on this platform.

    • PMC has appointed a chief data officer and data contributors from each department to become the point person for data sourcing, following which the data provided by the Chief Data Officer and the contributor is published on the platform after due moderation.

    • This particular platform is basically provides its user with important datasets of the various government departments without comprising its original value. The moderation process here is confined to formatting and ensuring that the datasets are made available in concurrence with the principles of Open Government Data, where no compromise or addition is made to the original values of the datasets which are provided by the data owners. The process of making the datasets into Open format forms the base for standardization in this particular platform.

    • Apart from data publication the platform also boasts of content matter which supports the datasets and gives an overview of the initiatives which are taken to make this platform more accessible and popular through community engagement and various other events. This content matter is contributed by the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the platform and ably moderated at the right level and published on the platform.

    • Finally with regard to the feedback and engagement with the larger public, the platform has a well laid out moderation and management process which involves moderation of feedback by the Admin followed by publication of the feedbacks and views.
